Duomo di San Sepolcro

This Romanesque cathedral is famous for its 10th-century crypt, which contains a sacellum modeled after the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. It houses stones said to be stained with the blood of Christ, brought back from the Crusades. For pilgrims, it is a major spiritual stop that mirrors the ultimate destination of the Holy Land.
